Cookie policy
This notice describes the cookies and similar storage technologies used by byonda.it, operated by B&M s.r.l. Cookies are small text files that websites send to the user's browser, where they are stored and sent back to the same sites on the next visit. Similar technologies, such as the browser's local storage (HTML Local Storage), keep information on the user's device without sending it to any server. Depending on their purpose, a distinction is made between technical cookies, which are needed for the site to work and may be set without consent, and profiling or third-party cookies, which require the user's prior consent.
On the first visit the site shows a banner with three equally prominent options: Accept all, Reject and Customise, which lets you choose category by category. Closing the banner with the X counts as a rejection: only necessary tools stay active. Your choice is kept in your browser for 12 months and can be changed or withdrawn at any time through the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page, or with the button below. No non-necessary tool runs before you have given consent.
byonda.it sets no cookies of its own. The only third-party tools are Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Ltd), listed under Statistics, and the Meta Pixel (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd), listed under Marketing. Each is loaded from its provider's domain and sets its cookies only after you have accepted that category in the banner; you can accept one without the other. Until then the site loads no scripts, fonts, videos or other content from external domains and uses only the technical storage listed under Necessary, kept in the user's browser. Google Consent Mode v2 is set to "denied" for every signal before any Google tag, and advertising signals stay denied in all cases. The hosting provider (Netlify, Inc.) does not set cookies on the site's pages either.
Necessary storage makes the site usable by enabling basic functions such as remembering your cookie preferences. The site cannot work properly without it, and it requires no consent.

Would let the site remember information that changes how it looks or behaves, such as your region. We currently use no tools in this category.
Statistics tools help us understand how visitors interact with the site by collecting and reporting information in aggregate form. We use one tool in this category: Google Analytics 4, provided by Google Ireland Ltd, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Its purpose is statistics: which pages are visited, from which countries and devices, and whether a visit leads to a contact or a demo request. It is loaded only with your consent to the Statistics category; if you reject or later withdraw consent, it is not loaded on any page and its cookies are deleted. IP addresses are truncated by Google Analytics 4 by design. Google acts as data processor for the Controller and may transfer data to the United States under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Marketing tools are used to measure the results of advertising and to show relevant messages on other platforms. We use one tool in this category: the Meta Pixel, provided by Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd, Merrion Road, Dublin 4, Ireland. Its purpose is advertising measurement: it tells us whether our advertising on Facebook and Instagram leads to visits, contacts and demo requests, and it allows Meta to show BYONDA messages to people who have visited this site. It is loaded only with your consent to the Marketing category; if you reject or later withdraw consent, it is not loaded on any page and its cookie is deleted. For the collection and transmission of the events listed below, B&M s.r.l. and Meta are joint controllers under Art. 26 GDPR, as set out in the Meta Business Tools terms; for the subsequent processing Meta is an independent controller. Should further statistics or marketing tools be introduced, this declaration will be updated with the full list of cookies, providers and durations, and those tools will run only after the user has given consent in the banner. The banner asks for a new choice whenever the list of tools changes substantially.
You can also delete or block cookies and local storage directly in your browser settings. Instructions for the most common browsers: Google Chrome, Safari, Mozilla Firefox, Microsoft Edge. Clearing local storage removes your language choice and cookie preferences, which will be asked for again.
